Application Process:

1. Surface Preparation:

The floor surface (typically concrete) is cleaned, repaired, to ensure proper adhesion of the coating. A moisture test is tested using a CMEX5 moisture meter to ensure the moisture percentage of the floor is in range to apply any coating sometimes a moisture vapour barrier is needed

2. Primer/Base Coat:

Base coat of polyaspartic resin is applied a the recommended thickness making sure standards are given

3. Broadcasting Flakes:

While the base coat is still wet, the decorative flakes are scattered over the surface to ensure even coverage.

4. Curing:

The base coat is cured, binding the flakes to the surface.

5. Scraping and Vacuuming:

Excess flakes are scraped off and vacuumed up, ensuring the proper surface to apply the top coat.

6. Top Coat:

A clear top coat of polyaspartic resin is applied to seal the flakes and provide a glossy, UV stable NON-yellowing durable finish.

Final Inspection & Cleanup:

• A thorough inspection is conducted to ensure the floor meets our high standards of quality and appearance.
• The work area is cleaned, and any protective coverings are removed.

• We provide you with detailed instructions on how to care for and maintain your new epoxy floor to keep it looking its best.
• Guidelines on how long to wait before using the floor to ensure it is fully cured and ready for foot traffic or furniture placement
